    mozilla thunderbird

    I use it with gmail. its great. just as good as any commercial email reader. entirely free. just an excellent piece of software.

    What about Outlook Express? If you have Windows you already have it.

    Try Mozilla Thunderbird, its pretty simple, secure and reliable.

    You can also look at Outlook (with Windows installation you already have Outlook Express installed) but Outlook Express is not as good as Thunderbird.

    So, if you are looking for something nice and easy go for Thunderbird.
