How does one block a contact on Gmail so the sender receives a note that their email has not been delivered?

Hi, I am looking for a way how to block emails coming from a certain address so that the sender receives a note about their email not being delivered.
I have a Gmail address and want to block my boss!! Got unfairly dismissed when recovering from a surgery and do not want to receive any more emails from him.
Thanks a lot.

Just create a filter to automatically delete the emails from them, then you wont have to worry about it..not sure if you can give a fake bounce with gmail

You could try using the Mark as Spam option and then install a spam filter.

I have Yahoo & you could go into ‘Options’ at the R top of E-Mail page.
Look for ‘Block Mail” & insert the address you wish to block.
They (sender) will then recieve a ‘Mail Daemon’ (unable to deliver to recipient notice)
I’m sure that all Gmail progams have something similar.
Go into your mail options for hints/preferences.
