How do I get a gmail aggount with out getting a text?

Now gmail is open to everyone and it doesn’t require invitation anymore as it used to do in past. You can simply go to and click “Sign up for Gmail” link.

Simple- just ask your friends to “invite” you to Gmail. They can do it for free. The “invite” will come to your current email address with a link to Gmail and then you just create an account.
