How can I import my Windows Live Messenger contacts to Gmail?

    rename the ctt file to .txt or .csv and you can just open it; it’s all in there in plain text, I did it the other day with a bit of messing about. I think it was more like XML formatted but you can still just draw out the info you need e.g. a list of email addy’s and upload that to google
