Why is my gmail slow on my brand new laptop?

Everything else is working great. It’s an HP Pavilion and the only thing is that gmail is super slow.
and yet, I have the same server I did on my old laptop yesterday…

    The speed at which you load websites is more affected by the server you access, the browser you are using, and your internet speed (mainly this).

    1 internet connection, 2 problems with gmail.

    if it is a brand new computer there shouldn’t be any problems,
    but if it is internet problem either 1: when loading choose basic HTML view, or 2

    (note: the next bit is editing registry keys, and making a mistake could cause a unstable computer, I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT THE OUTCOMES ARE IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE, PERFORM THIS OPERATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.)

    go to start>run>type regedit

    when opened go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER >software >Microsoft >windows >current version >click on the word internet settings then choose MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server type 10 and then choose decimal, click ok, then choose MaxConnectionsPerServertype 10 and then choose decimal, click ok and close regedit.now test your internet speed.
