    Outlook Express comes with windows xp (Windows Mail as they call it in Vista, a bit different). Outlook express is mainly for mail/newsgroups reading.

    White MS outlook offers calendaring, meeting scheduling and collaboration tool. (Of course, Email and newsgroup is also there)

    Yes and no. IMAP initially downloads mail headers only (subject and sender but not body.) When you click on the e-mail it will cache a local copy until you close the client depending on which client you use.

    imap doesnt download the mail off the server it just reads it right?
