How do you add contacts through gmail for aim?

I connected aim to my gmail account and I don’t understand how to add contacts through it, is it even possible? By the way I cannot download it right now because aim keeps messing up when I try and my computer will not download it. Thank’s in advance!

my aim contacts went straight to my gmail account, and I haven’t tried to add a another aim contact if you want you could email me yours (through yahoo answers) and I could try adding it, and tell you if I get it cuz I don’t know anyone else to add as a contact; but try adding a contact like adding a regular gmail contact, if that doesn’t work then add contacts through aim and they should show up on gmail (but I don’t know for sure)
