How do I transfer all my Gmail emails in one account to a different Gmail account?

I’ve had the same Gmail account for over 3 and a half years and would like to transfer everything in that account to a different account. Essentially just changing the name of my account or making a backup of every email I’ve gotten.
Any ideas?

You can pretty easily do that in Gmail. Go to the new Gmail ID you want to have backup in and then go to account settings page. After that add a new email account and Enter details of old Gmail ID like username, password. Then Gmail will start importing email into new account.
