How do i make gmail defult instead of windows mail?

i have an asus g1 laptop. it has a button that i can press that automatically takes me to windows mail. i dont use windows mail. i use gmail. is there a way that i can make this button take me to my gmail account instead of windows mail?

    nope… but you can setup outlook to forward mail from other places into outlook

    Activate POP in Gmail under settings. Setup outlook to use the POP settings and instructions in Gmail and make the Gmail email account your default. Then use Outlook for your gmail.
