how do i get replies to gmail to appear as separate mail in my inbox?

i was waiting for reply to go into inbox as new mail. instead the reply is added to previous message with (2). i didn’t realize this meant new mail.
how do i get new mail to be on seperate lines?

it is easy ..
just change the subject . it will be come as a new mail
google keeps filing the mail , if it is in same subject
