Article Marketing and Twitter is a powerful combination.

Before I show you four powerful ways to repurpose your articles on Twitter, let me take a moment and tell you one thing “article tweeting” is not. It’s not sending your article out in 10-15 separate 140 character tweets on Twitter. That’s not article tweeting….that’s annoying.

Strategy 1 – Automation

Strategy 4 – RT Campaigns

RT on Twitter stands for re-tweet. Some one sees the announcement of your article re-sends that announcement. People will do this voluntarily and you can also ask those in your community to do so.

I make a habit out of retweeting the posts of my students and of my followers, especially when they’ve got a new article out. This lets other people on my list know that there’s a new article by this person.

Now follow me on this. Let’s say that you do an article tweet and it goes to the Twitter page of all of your followers on Twitter. Then it’s also seen by those people, and if they re-tweet it then it’s seen by the people following those folks.

This quickly goes viral and spreads your articles all over Twitter, brings in traffic, bring in prospects, and brings in profits when you do it right.

Increasingly, hosting providers, especially free ones, are strongly encouraging their users to use Google Apps for managing their email. This is generally because the provider wants to reduce the processing overhead involved in running POP accounts and save on the disk space involved in storing mailboxes.

Generally speaking, it is true to say that using Google Apps gives much better performance than a small to medium sized host and you can usually tell when a host wants its users to go the GoogleApps route by the type of email support it offers.

If the host offers the sort of POP support where you can create separate email accounts – for example, admin@yoursite.com or fred@yoursite.com – then it is probably safe to say that you can expect a reasonably good email service. However, if your hosting account includes a single ‘catch-all’ email account then, even if you can access it through an email client, the chances are that you would be better off using Google Apps.

There are other email solutions out there but they often have a cost attached or do not offer the full functionality that Google Apps does.

Google Apps is actually much more than just email but I suspect that the majority of users do use it just for that. With a basic, out-of-the-box, Google Apps account you can:

- Add other domains

- Each user account has its own mailbox

- Include a chat facility for your users

- Share and collaborate on documents

- Create private or public websites online and collaborate with others in building them

- Run a group calendar

- Create your own home page, choosing what Google widgets your users see

- and, of course, email

All this might sound a bit daunting if all you need is a couple of email accounts at yoursite.com! Don’t worry – you can turn off anything you don’t need and simply have what is, in effect, Gmail accounts but using your own domain name instead of gmail.com.

You may already have a Google customised search page which includes some of its more useful widgets like news feeds, note pads etc. and if you have a Gmail account you may also be using the page to show your email. The Google Apps home page is just like this except that you can ‘brand’ it with your own logo. (See the front entrance to my email management for an example – home.mypf.org).

From your home page you and your users, if you have any, can log in and access all the functions of the Google Apps site that you have set up and granted permissions for. You can even create your own URLs for specific functions. For instance, mail.mypf.org will take you to a branded Gmail login page.

The branding continues onto the Gmail pages too.

Of course, the whole point of hosting providers steering you towards Google Apps is so that you can get your POP service from there. Just like a regular Gmail account, Google Apps email accounts can also be accessed by POP clients.

Naturally all this comes at a price – but not a financial one! There is a fair amount of setup involved, from verifying that you own the domain for which you are opening the account to changing your domain’s MX (mail exchange) records to point email delivery at your Google Apps account and configuring your mail client to use the Gmail accounts. Don’t panic! I’ll be covering setup in detail in another article.

A bit of home improvement experience would help you a lot, but if you’re a newbie, you’ll find that installing ceramic wall tile is a cinch simply by following these tile installation instructions.

Start by getting your tiling tools. You will need the following tools for this project: A tape measure, some chalk and string, a tile cutter, a pair of tile nippers and a pair of pliers. You’ll also need tile spacers, sandpaper, a notched trowel and a rubber grout float. You will need a strong setting material or tile adhesive for installing ceramic wall tile on your bathroom or kitchen. You can choose from a wide selection of tiling mortars and tile adhesives. When installing ceramic wall tile grout, make sure it matches your setting material color as well. Tiling grout comes in a variety of color tints, so you can choose a tint that would fit your room’s desired look.

Get some buckets, rags and sponges for after you’ve laid in your tiles. These will help in cleaning your tiles of excess grout and other debris. And don’t start to installing ceramic wall tile without your safety gear. Get long-sleeved work clothes, a pair of safety glasses, heavy leather gloves, and work shoes.

Once you have your tools, you’re all set. The first step to installing ceramic wall tile is to lay out your walls. Start by finding the center of your wall using your tape measure, chalk and string. Draw vertical and horizontal line at the center of your wall. Mark the intersecting lines; these will be your reference lines for your tiling work.

When installing ceramic wall tile, make sure that your walls are clean of dust and debris. Repair cracks and fill in gaps and holes. Roughen up or scarify your wall so that your tiling mortar can bond your tiles to your wall. To begin installing ceramic wall tile on your wall, start from that intersection point you just laid out. While tiling, do regular checks on your work.

When installing ceramic wall tile, you have to make sure that all the tiles are bonded consistently and not running up or down in different angles. Place your tile over it and press the tile down firmly in place. Give it a slow, twisting motion till the ceramic tile is firmly in place. Duplicate this procedure with the rest of your ceramic tiles. To get a consistent tiling, place tile spacers on all the spaces between your ceramic bathroom tiles.

After you’ve tiled your bathroom wall, leave it to set overnight. Then, it’s time to lay in your grout. There are two main kinds of grout for installing ceramic wall tile: Sanded or unsanded grout. Sanded grout is a mixture of cement, water and fine sand, ideal for tile spaces that are more than an eighth of an inch wide. Unsanded grout is a type of grout preferred for small tile spaces. To maximize your grout application, angle your rubber grout float and press firmly down as you spread it over the tile spaces. Check for pockets of air and dab these spaces with more grout. When you’re done, let it set for an hour, and then use a damp sponge to wipe off any excess grout. Rinse your sponge regularly so you can get a cleaner and better finish. Then, let your grout dry for a day.

Follow these instructions on how installing ceramic wall tile on your walls and you won’t go wrong. Making something worthwhile for your home can give you a lot of satisfaction. So, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy while you’re installing ceramic wall tile on your kitchen or bathroom.
