The harrier is the veritcal take off Jet fighter and you cannot make a good Jet fighter which can take off vertically.F-16′s they are badass.You dont want to play with them.Its totally a weapons platform.

its a harrier not a harrior…and an F-16 wouldnt have too much trouble with it…its more maneuverable…faster…better technology…there’s a reason so many other countries bought it.

Red Arrows fly in smaller craft so that they can manoeuvre more effectively, for better tricks. Yes the thunderbirds are very good at what they do, and quite impressive, but I don’t think I agree with your comment about air combat. The RAF is second to noone. You really think an F16 would be able to pull one over the harrior? If you don’t know what the harrior is, I suggest you look it up. Its capable of a lot more than any regular fighter jet.

dt089-i agree far as i know the red arrows fly
in very small trainer jets the f16′s the tbirds fly can actually be made combat ready in a very short amount of time.i dont think any country in the WORLD would want to go head to head with american pilots in combat.

I attended the Air Show in Rochester yesterday and today. It pure awesome. I really enjoyed the whole show but I loved the #5 Jet flown by Maj. Samantha Weeks/lead solo because she is from Rome NY where I a live not that far away.
